Class I Educational Picnic – Moodbidri & Karkala

St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, organised an enriching educational picnic for the students of Class I to Moodbidri and Karkala on 15 September 2026.
The day began with breakfast, followed by an exciting visit to the Butterfly Park, Beluvai, where the children observed colourful butterflies and learned about their life cycle. At Koti Chennaya Park, they explored traditional agricultural materials, cultural artefacts, and a traditional Guttu house, gaining an insight into the rich heritage of the region.
The students also visited St. Lawrence Church, Attur, before heading to Soans Farm, where they discovered a variety of plants and learned about the diversity of plant life.
The picnic beautifully combined learning, exploration, culture, and fun. The children enthusiastically participated in every experience and returned with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation of nature and their cultural heritage.
