St. Theresa’s School, Bendur – High School marked Bethany Foundation Day with a lively and heartfelt programme, honouring the legacy of the Servant of God Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas, the visionary founder of the Bethany Congregation.
The event began with graceful compering by Aldrin and Aldreena, followed by a soul-stirring prayer service led by Madiha and team, invoking God’s blessings on the Bethany family. Lakshya welcomed the gathering, leading into a powerful theatrical portrayal of the founder’s life, his unwavering faith, and his mission of education and social upliftment.
A touching moment was the wishing ceremony for the Bethany Sisters, where students expressed deep gratitude for their love and guidance. The Theresian Choir added warmth with a melodious wishing song.
Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Walter D’Souza inspired the audience to pursue excellence with humility, while Sr. Shaila, the Correspondent, appreciated the efforts of the students and staff in upholding the founder’s vision.
Vineet delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the meaningful celebration to a close. The programme was a beautiful tribute to the spirit of Bethany – rooted in faith, growing in love.
