On 16th December 2024, the Grade 2 students of St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, began their picnic day with God’s blessings, marking the start of an unforgettable adventure filled with education, fun, and exploration. The day included visits to the exciting locations, blending learning with outdoor excitement.
The adventure began at the Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology, where the students explored exhibits on human and animal anatomy. The museum's collection of anatomical models and preserved specimens sparked curiosity and introduced them to the fields of science and biology in an engaging way. Next, the students visited Sharada Children's Park in Manipal. The vibrant park offered a chance to play, relax, and bond with classmates, making it the perfect break before continuing the journey.
The third stop was the Salu Marada Thimmakka Tree Park, dedicated to environmental conservation. The students learned about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and sustainability while enjoying a peaceful walk through the greenery. The final destination was Malpe Sea Walk Beach, where the students marvelled at the ocean views and enjoyed a relaxing stroll
along the sea bridge, soaking in the beauty of the coastline.
After a day full of adventure, the students reached the school safely, bringing their picnic day to a happy and peaceful end. The picnic was a perfect mix of learning, nature, and fun, leaving the students with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
