Theresian Talent Show – Odyssey 2026: A Celebration of Talent and Creativity
The campus of St Theresa’s School, Bendur came alive with excitement and enthusiasm as Theresian Talent Show – Odyssey 2026 was inaugurated on 11th July 2026. The event celebrated the unique talents of young Theresians, inspiring them to dream big, perform with confidence, and shine on stage.
The inaugural programme began with an introduction and a prayer seeking God’s blessings. A captivating welcome dance added colour and vibrancy to the occasion, setting the perfect tone for the day. The gathering was warmly welcomed, and the dignitaries were honoured with saplings and floral bouquets as symbols of gratitude and growth.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Andrea Christal Vas, an alumna- of the 2012 batch , was felicitated and introduced to the audience. In her inspiring address, she encouraged students to believe in themselves, nurture their gifts, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Sr. Lourdes, Principal, motivated the students to pursue excellence with dedication, while Sr. Vidya, Vice Principal, graced the occasion with her presence and encouragement. The ceremonial inauguration officially marked the beginning of Odyssey 2026, filling the atmosphere with excitement and anticipation.
The day witnessed a spectacular display of talent as students competed in Recitation, Calligraphy, Declamation, Pick and Speak, Mono Acting, Story Narration, Beat Boxing, Gymnastics, Hula Hoops and Yoga. Every performance reflected creativity, confidence, and meticulous preparation, making the competitions both inspiring and enjoyable.
The competitions were ably judged by an esteemed panel of alumini : Ms. Damini (Recitation), Ms. Jahnvi (Declamation), Ms. Trisha (Pick & Speak), Mr. Saksham (Mono Acting), Mr. Allen (Story Narration), along with the School Yoga Teacher -Mrs. Kavitha (Yoga), whose valuable observations and encouragement motivated every participant to give their best.
Odyssey 2026 was more than a talent show—it was a celebration of passion, perseverance, and the limitless potential of every Theresian. The event beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and providing every child with a stage to discover, express, and celebrate their unique talents.
