The Investiture Ceremony of the Junior School Cabinet at St. Theresa's School took place on February 19th in the school grounds, marked by great enthusiasm and excitement.
Chief Guest Mrs. Jyoti Pereira was warmly welcomed, along with the School Principal Sr. Lourdes, Vice Principal Sr. Reena, and PTA Vice President Mrs. Collette Cabral. A guard of honor, led by stick major Agamya Shetty, added a touch of grandeur to the occasion The ceremony commenced with the invocation of God's blessings.
This was followed by an introduction of the chief guest and a welcome address by Sr. Reena. Students then participated in a march past, accompanied by the outgoing cabinet members. The Handing Over Ceremony was conducted, where the new cabinet members took an oath to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity.
The School Anthem was sung, and the new cabinet was officially greeted. Mrs. Jyoti Pereira delivered an inspiring speech on leadership and teamwork, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and responsibility.
The outgoing Head Boy Shannon Dcosta and Head Girl Preesha Alva shared their experiences, while the incoming Head Girl Elaina Aroza expressed her commitment to the role. The event also included a dance performance, prize distribution, and appreciation certificates for the outgoing members.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Claiton Dsouza and the National Anthem, marking the beginning of a new leadership journey for the students.
