Rizelle Alida D’Souza of Class VI, St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, made the school proud by participating in the Karnataka State Chess Championship in the Under-11 Girls’ category, held at Chikkaballapur from 13th to 15th June. She performed brilliantly, securing 5th place by scoring 7 points out of 9 rounds.
With this remarkable achievement, Rizelle has been selected to represent Karnataka in the National Under-11 Chess Championship, scheduled to be held in Maharashtra in August.
This achievement marks the fulfilment of her dream, a true reward for her dedication, determination, and hard work.
