On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the students of St. Theresa's School celebrated with great vigor and enthusiasm. The session began by invoking God's blessings with a yoga prayer. The students then demonstrated various asanas. Mrs. Kavita Ashok, an Indian Book Record Holder, trained the students for the event.
Ms. Presha S. Alva, the head girl of the primary section, spoke about the benefits of practicing yoga. The school Principal, Sr. Lourdes, Vice Principal Sr. Reena D'Souza, the Coordinator for the primary section, Mrs. Olivia D'Souza, the P.T. instructor, Mrs. Anita D'Souza, and other faculty members attended the program.
The Principal encouraged the students and praised them for their incredible performance. She emphasized the importance of yoga for achieving a healthy lifestyle and mindfulness, and thanked Mrs. Kavita Ashok for her efforts in training the students. The yoga session was both fruitful and meaningful.
