On September 21, 2024, St. Theresa’s School proudly hosted an exhilarating series of Inter-House competitions, featuring the Bhava Geethye (Classical Singing) and Off the Cuff (Pick and Speak) events, held in the mini and main halls, respectively.
Off the Cuff (Pick and Speak Competition)
The Pick and Speak competition aimed to cultivate students’ confidence and public speaking prowess. Following an opening prayer and a warm welcome, participants from four houses eloquently articulated their assigned topics, showcasing impressive oratory skills.
Winners of the Junior Category
All three prizes were triumphantly claimed by the Blue House.
Winners of the Senior Grade
First place was secured by the Red House, while the Green House captured both the second and third prizes.
Principal Sr. Lourdes commended the students for their exemplary performances, emphasizing the importance of overcoming stage fright and articulating ideas with clarity. She also offered constructive feedback on enhancing speaking techniques. The judges for the competition were Mrs. Ritty D’Souza and Mrs. Doreen D’Vaz.
Bhava Geethye (Classical Singing) Competition
The Bhava Geethye competition commenced with a soulful prayer song and a welcoming address, designed to showcase the students’ musical talents. Judged by Mrs. Nishvitha Karandoor and Ms. Shrividya, the event radiated a vibrant atmosphere.
