Sohan Peyton Fernandes of Class V‑A and Shaanan Ethan Fernandes of Class VIII‑B took part in the Sansad Khel Mahotsava Chess Tournament held at Mallya Indoor Stadium, Mangalore.
Sohan clinched second place in the Sub‑Junior Under‑10 Boys category, while Shaanan secured third place in the Under‑15 category. Both players scored 6 out of 7 rounds.
