St Theresa’s School, Mangaluru Girls Secure Runners-Up Trophy in AICS Badminton Tournament
Mangaluru, August 28, 2026: The U-14 Girls’ Badminton Team of St Theresa’s School, Mangaluru, secured the Runners-Up Trophy at the AICS (Association of ICSE and CBSE Schools) Interschool Badminton Tournament held at SDM, Ujire.
The school team put up an impressive performance, displaying excellent teamwork, determination and sporting spirit throughout the tournament.
The Runners-Up team comprised Aadhya (Class VII C), Presha (Class VII A), Rika (Class VII A) and Rhea (Class VI B).
The school appreciated the girls for their dedication and commendable performance. A special word of appreciation was extended to Mr Pavan for accompanying the students and to Mr Joseph for training and preparing the team for the tournament.
The achievement has brought pride to St Theresa’s School, Mangaluru, and is a reflection of the school’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent alongside academic excellence.
