St. Theresa’s School, Bendur Celebrates Little King & Queen of Nature

St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, organised the Little King & Queen of Nature Competition for the students of Classes 1 and 2. The event aimed to foster creativity, confidence, and environmental awareness while encouraging children to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Students arrived dressed as a variety of nature-inspired characters such as flowers, trees, butterflies, the sun, the moon, rainbows, and Mother Earth. They also wore beautifully crafted crowns made from natural and eco-friendly materials like fallen leaves, dried flowers, twigs, seeds, and coconut leaves, showcasing their creativity and love for nature. Each participant confidently walked the ramp, expressing their chosen character through graceful movements, gestures, and facial expressions. Their colourful costumes, imaginative crowns, and enthusiastic participation created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, making the event a memorable celebration of nature.

The competition provided an excellent platform for children to showcase their creativity, confidence, and stage presence while developing an appreciation for environmental conservation. The event was a grand success, reflecting the enthusiasm and talent of the young participants. Through such meaningful activities, St. Theresa’s School continues to nurture holistic development and instil a sense of responsibility towards protecting and preserving nature in its students.
