Drug Awareness Programme Held at St. Theresa’s School, BendurMangaluru, Nov 29:St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, organised a meaningful and impactful Drug Awareness Programme on November 29, 2025, with the aim of educating students on making safe, healthy, and responsible life choices.The school had the honour of welcoming Police Sub-Inspector Mrs Jyothi from Kadri Police Station as the chief guest. Addressing the students, Mrs Jyothi delivered a powerful and insightful session on the harmful effects of drug consumption, as well as the rising concerns surrounding e-cigarettes and vaping among youth. She highlighted the legal consequences associated with drug abuse, explained how law enforcement deals with such cases, and guided students on whom to approach if they encounter such offences.Her message encouraged students to stay informed, vigilant, and committed to a drug-free lifestyle.As a token of gratitude, Principal Sr Lourdes presented a memento to the chief guest. A sapling was later handed over by Mrs Shareen, symbolising growth, hope, and the school’s commitment to fostering a healthier and drug-free future.The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.St. Theresa’s School continues to take proactive steps in shaping responsible citizens and creating a safe environment for all.
