St Theresa’s School achieved Gold at the NCC firing event
St. Theresa’s School achieved a remarkable victory at the recent National Cadet Corps (NCC) firing event, securing the Gold Medal. Our cadets, SGT Aslie Dsouza and SGT Druthi C Raju of Class IX attended the National Cadet Corps Thal Sainik Camp 2024. The first camp took place at Karkala where SGT Druthi C Raju won the first place and won a gold medal. The second camp was held at Shivamogga and the third at NITK, Surathkal.
The event, known for its rigorous competition, brought together cadets from various schools, each showcasing their skills in precision shooting and discipline.
St. Theresa’s School cadets demonstrated exceptional marksmanship and focus, leading them to top the leaderboard. The Intergroup competition ( IGC) was conducted this month in Mysuru, where SGT Druthi C Raju once again excelled winning a gold medal and securing first place in the firing event. Their dedication to training and teamwork was evident as they consistently hit their targets with accuracy. The victory is a testament to their hard work and the support of their mentor Mrs Thyagavalli, bringing pride to their school and setting a high standard for future competitions.
This Gold Medal win is a significant achievement for St. Theresa’s, highlighting the school’s commitment to excellence in all areas, including extracurricular activities like NCC.
