The Junior Investiture Ceremony of St. Theresa’s School for the academic year 2023-2024 was held with great pomp and dignity on 29th January 2024. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Prof. Praveen Rai Kukkuvalli, Professor of Padua PU College, accompanied by the School Principal Sr Lourdes, Vice Principal Sr Reena and PTA Vice President Mr Sujith Noronha. This investiture ceremony was marked by a symbolic transition of responsibilities from senior members to their junior counterparts. The senior members gracefully handed over their duties to their juniors, emphasizing continuity and mentorship.
The ceremony commenced by presenting a prayer song to invoke God’s blessings.
The Vice Principal Sr Reena welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest. The dignitaries and teachers of the Primary Section conferred the newly elected cabinet members with their respective sashes.
Donning the mantle of accountability, the newly elected cabinet pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
This investiture ceremony served as a reminder of the shared journey embarked upon – a journey of learning, growth, and collective achievement. Together, as a cohesive and spirited community, looking forward to reaching new heights and creating lasting legacies.
The Chief Guest commended the school, speaking positively about it's achievements and values. Additionally, he offered valuable tips to the newly elected school leaders, encouraging them to lead with dedication, integrity, and a focus on collaboration. Rufus Tom, the outgoing Head Boy and Prisha Alva the incoming Head girl expressed their sentiments of joy for the responsibility entrusted to them. The school Vice Principal Sr. Reena announced The Best Class of the year. A vote of thanks was proposed by the outgoing Head girl Angel Tresa Joseph on behalf of Theresians.
The Investiture Ceremony ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
