The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant occasion where young students embraced leadership and responsibility with unwavering dedication. St. Theresa's School in Mangalore hosted this ceremony on January 27, 2024. Outgoing Std. 10 students handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected cabinet members, receiving certificates for their service.
The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly, upholding the institution's honor and glory. They received their prestigious flag, badge, and sash from Chief Guest Dr. K.M Rajesh, Principal Scientist at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Mangalore, along with Principal Sr. Lourdes, Vice Principal Sr. Reena, PTA Vice President Mr. Sujith Noronha, and high school teachers. Parents proudly witnessed their children taking on significant responsibilities as emerging leaders.
Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of upholding the school's legacy and cultivating leadership qualities. He shared tips on becoming effective leaders and encouraged students to follow the right path to bring about positive change.
With flags held high and heads standing tall, students marched to the rhythm of drum beats. Headboy Allen Rasquinha expressed gratitude for the school's support, while Head Girl Eshani Sanil urged cooperation among cabinet members to become beacons of light as leaders. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
High-school activity in-charge teachers Mrs. Savita Albuquerque and Mrs. Veena Lasrado fulfilled their responsibilities for the year with dedication.
Sr. Reena announced the results of the best house for the year 2023-24, with the Yellow house emerging as winners and the Red house as runners-up. House captains and teachers in charge received the trophies.
In the Junior category, Class 6B and in the Senior category, Class 8C were declared the best classes for the year 2023-24. Class monitors and teachers received the trophies from the principal, marking a proud moment for the students.
The success was celebrated by students and teachers, capturing memories through pictures to cherish.
