Memories of school Educational trips are among the most prominent of the formative years, largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they can also be a fun bonding experience for everyone involved. Getting away from the everyday atmosphere of the classroom gives students an opportunity to spend time with each other.
St Theresa’s School, Bendur, arranged a field trip for the students of class IV on September 27, 2023, (Wednesday). The students were
taken to UVA Meridian Park, Kundapur. The students boarded the bus at 6:45a.m and
reached the destination by 9:30 a.m. There was a break in between the journey to have breakfast at a restaurant in Uchila. The students were treated to a sumptuous breakfast of hot puris and masala dosas. After this energizing start, the entry to UVA Meridian Amusement and Water Park was a treat to the eyes. They were awestruck by the
different types of trees and mesmerized by the beautiful flowers in the gardens.
All the students were excited to explore
the water park. The students were first treated to dry games with a Train Ride, Trampoline, Frog Ride, Roller Coaster, Haunted House, Mirror Maze, and an exciting 3D Theatre Show.
This was followed by the water park Games. This was the most exciting part for all the children where they enjoyed playing in the water games like Spiral Slider, Baby Pool, a special treat in the Waves Pool, and the very special musical Rain Dance.
The children enjoyed themselves thoroughly and were treated to a delicious lunch. After a few more water games later, the happy and very still very energized students boarded the bus to go back to Mangalore. Everyone enjoyed a lot and had a wonderful day.
