November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The children's day was celebrated at St. Theresa's School with great enthusiasm.
The program began with a prayer. The Principal Sr Lourdes welcomed the students and offered a bouquet to the head boy Pradyun Kumar, and the Vice Principal, Sr. Caron offered flowers to the head Girl, Aadya Carol. Sr. Shaila, the correspondent of the school greeted the students and wished them all the best in their future endeavours.
The Children enjoyed the humorous skit enacted by the teachers. The teachers also performed a mesmerizing dance and conducted few games for the students. They also showed their love towards the students by singing in unison a greeting song. Head Aadya carol proposed the vote of thanks. It was a fun-filled and joyous day for the students
