To brighten hope for a greener tomorrow, a special assembly on ''Save the Nature 'was conducted by the students of grade II D at St. Theresa's School Bendur on 28th June. This assembly was designed to raise awareness about protecting our precious nature and natural resources with problems like deforestation and nature conservation. The assembly commenced with the Prayer by the students. Thought of the day was presented and students spoke about the importance of a healthy environment, the foundation for a stable and productive society. Children displayed many slogans on the theme to ensure the well-being of present and future generations. After that children performed the action song which depicted that we should avoid plastic to save our ecosystem. Sr.Winjoy, the school coordinator shared some facts about Nature and encouraged students to protect and preserve nature, she addressed the students and help evoke the spirit of taking immediate action to save the environment and Mother Nature. The students delivered the message that only if we all work together and conserve nature, we will live happily on the earth. Sr Winjoy distributed the certificates of the card-making competition. The assembly ended with a vote of thanks.
