Away from the daily schedule, the students enjoyed their day to the fullest by admiring the bounty of nature and the wonders of science
during a day out to Udupi -Manipal, Malpe.
Altogether, 110 students of classes 2ABCD sections, along with staff members, participated.
The day began enthusiastically as the students and their class teachers gathered at the school premises. The Principal started the day by invoking God's blessings, and the students then went to the allotted buses.
The journey began to Udupi to visit Shri Krishna Matha, a place of historical importance and filled with the holy chants surrounding the campus with holiness. The students paid their respect to the deity.
After that, the students visited the Corporation Bank Heritage Museum (Coin museum). There is a very good collection of coins of different eras in different countries. The students spent their time viewing them and noting some points for their academics.
Moving forward, the students visited the Museum of Anatomy and Pathology Manipal. The detailed and well-arranged specimens of Human anatomy filled our students with awe and admiration for one's own body.
After a sumptuous lunch, we continued our journey towards the Udayavani printing press.
Next, they visited Bhujanga Park where the students played on swings, saw, etc.It was a time of photo shoot too. Students were thrilled with this visit.
We then proceeded to Stella Maris church and meaningfully spent our time on the campus.
Lastly, we visited the much-awaited place by the students - Sea walk park Malpe.
Viewing the slowly setting sun, getting refreshed by the cool sea breeze, and tuning the ears to the sound of the sea waves, the students were filled with admiration and gratitude for nature's bounty.
Then we began our journey back to school.
We thank God for His protection and mercy.
Overall, the students had a fun-filled day with many enriching lessons to their lives.
On reaching the School, they thanked the principal Sr. Lourdes -for the opportunity given and for all the arrangements done. For the class teachers and helpers for their accompaniment and every support.
Thus, we ended our day looking forward to continue our daily schedule and another picnic for the next academic year.
