The students of Grade 1&2 of St. Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru celebrated 78th Independence Day on 13th August 2024 with a special assembly to honour the day India, gained freedom. The students had a wonderful celebration with their hearts full of pride for the nation.
The assembly began with a prayer, which set a solemn and respectful tone for the event. Students performed a patriotic song. The song was lively and filled with pride, celebrating our country’s independence. Students gave a vibrant dance performance. The dance featured traditional moves and colourful costumes, adding excitement to the celebration.
The students effectively communicated the significance of Independence Day. Through their presentations, they conveyed the essence of the day, highlighting the importance of freedom, the sacrifices made for our independence, and the values that our nation stands for. Their performances and explanations made the meaning of Independence Day clear and memorable for everyone involved.
